Mass Effect: Andromeda Review

Mass Effect Andromeda is an extremely disappointing game in my opinion and to be honest, this game had so much potential. Mass Effect 1-3 were excellent so this game is a complete letdown compared to the original trilogy and honestly, I’d recommend you just stick with the original trilogy as this game is a complete disappointed compared to the trilogy. Graphically, this game isn’t too good. Graphics aren’t what makes a game, but the graphics could have been slightly better in my opinion. The textures overall could have been slightly better. Now let’s talk about the animations. Truly awful. Honestly, the facial and body animations in this game are downright atrocious. I know I sound harsh but it’s the truth. There truly horrendous and they ruin the characters in my opinion.

That being said, it’s not like the characters in this game are spectacular. The characters in this game are truly unspectacular. This game has some of the blandest characters you’ll ever see in a video game. The characters in this game are just so dull overall. They could have been a lot better.

The music is decent but nothing special. Mass Effect Andromeda also has slight framerate issues but nothing too drastic in my opinion. The open- world in Mass Effect Andromeda is nice but empty. The missions can also be very generic and overall dull. One of the most disappointing things about this game was the story. The story was poorly written in my opinion and overall Mass Effect Andromeda just has too many flaws. From the awful facial animations to the dull characters Mass Effect Andromeda is a game I just cannot recommend even if I really wanted to.

Mass Effect Andromeda lacks that special spice the original trilogy had. The game just isn’t engaging it just isn’t the same as the original trilogy. Mass Effect Andromeda just lacks heart. The side quests are also quite terrible and customization is very limited.

Honestly, the game just seems very unpolished in my opinion. Everything in this game is forgettable and repetitive. Voice acting is also disappointing. The only noteworthy thing about Mass Effect Andromeda is the combat system. I will admit the combat system is very good and is pretty fun but everything else is below average in my opinion

Mass Effect Andromeda is a disappointment and it’s the weakest game in the series. That being said I do not think this is the end of Mass Effect. With more polishing, I believe the next one will be better. And I am excited for the future of Mass Effect.

The game is not bad at all. If your playing games for facial animations and cut scenes go watch Netflix. The graphics are great and gameplay is fun, and it’s definitely worth picking up. It’s sad to read another bad review because authors can’t even form their own opinions anymore, they just ride whatever news that gets them clicks.

I agree, tried Andromeda for few hours and lost interest. Completely opposite experience compared to ME 1, 2, 3 which were very addictive games. Big fail.
