Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 – Road to Boruto Review (PS4)
Release Date: February 2md, 2017
Platform – PS4, Xbox One, PC
Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 is a great game. The graphics are good and overall the battle mechanics are decent. That being said this is not a review for Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 4, this is a review for the Road To Boruto expansion pack and to be honest this expansion pack is very bad in my opinion. I really enjoyed Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 but this expansion isn’t recommended to anyone who already has Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 4. Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 Road to Boruto tells the story of Naruto’s rebellious son Boruto.
The story is based on Naruto Shippuden’s epilogue. There are some new characters but not a lot. You know the new character roster is poor when they bring back Mecha- Naruto. It’s not like they were stuck for new characters. Many news characters from the Boruto Manga aren’t playable such as Shikadai and Adult Konohamaru new villains introduced aren’t playable either. To be completely honest I don’t think anyone should buy this expansion there simply isn’t enough content in this so called expansion to call this a fair deal. The most frustrating is you’ll battle these unplayable characters sometime in the new story. The fact that these new characters aren’t playable is downright disappointing and lazy in my opinion. Voice acting for the new characters aren’t great either
Before you buy this you should know before you can actually use the new characters you must unlock these characters by playing through the story mode.
Overall Road to Boruto is a very poor expansion pack and it adds nothing new and sidequests cam be extremely repetitive and boring. This expansion shouldn’t be $20. Not recommended to anyone. If you want to know what happens next in Naruto then I recommend you read the manga. The manga is very good.
There simply isn’t enough content in Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 Road to Boruto. Not recommended to anyone.
